To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Transformers in 2024, the original Autobot commander Convoy (Optimus Prime) has been reimagined in a brand-new illustration by Fumikane Shimada-and turned into a model kit!
This character plastic model features fully articulated joints and highly detailed sculpting. True to his original form, Convoy still houses the legendary Matrix of Leadership in his chest, a symbol of the Autobot command.
The kit includes Convoy's signature weapons: the Laser Rifle (Convoy Gun) and the Energy Axe. His face comes pre-printed via tampo printing, allowing you to complete Convoy's iconic look straight out of the box. The parts are color-separated through molded colors and pre-painted pieces, making this an approachable build even for beginners.
